Surveillance Officer – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Surveillance Officer will monitor guest and staff activities across Atlantis The Royal using advanced CCTV and security systems. This role supports internal and external investigations, coordinates emergency responses, and contributes to the resort’s overall security strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor permanent and alarm‑activated CCTV systems from the command centre, including manual camera control.
• Ensure digital video recordings comply with Dubai Law 13‑2005 and report any system faults.
• Liaise with police and authorized agencies to provide recorded footage for investigations.
• Detect and coordinate response to emergencies such as fire, panic alarms, and evacuations.
• Operate and audit access‑control and CCTV investigations to support the hotel security plan.
• Provide public announcements and base radio support for resort‑wide operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security surveillance within a hospitality or similar environment.
• Knowledge of Dubai security regulations, particularly Law 13‑2005.
• Ability to work under pressure and support incident commanders during critical events.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with police and internal teams.
