Surveyor – Marine & Land Survey Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Surveyor to join NMDC Dredging and Marine’s project survey team. The role involves ensuring accurate measurements, supporting survey activities on marine and land projects, and maintaining safety standards on site.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in measurements.
• Assist the project survey team with mobilization, calibrations, execution, deliverables and project close‑out.
• Report activities that may affect survey operations to the Project Surveyor or Chief Surveyor.
• Collaborate with the Survey Department to ensure construction projects meet design specifications.
• Prepare, standardize and maintain Survey Guidelines and Procedures.
• Install, calibrate and troubleshoot survey equipment, hardware and software.
• Promote and participate in the safety program to ensure a safe working environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hydrography, Marine or Land Survey, Geodetic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar surveying role within the marine or construction industry.
• Fluent English; Arabic or other languages are an asset.
• Relevant certifications or professional memberships in surveying are beneficial.
• Ability to work with multicultural teams and manage competing priorities.
