About the role
The Team Leader – Sports Retail will drive sales performance and ensure exceptional customer service across GMG’s sports stores in the UAE. You will support the store sales team, oversee operations, and maintain brand standards.
Key responsibilities
- Support achievement of annual sales targets and monitor store performance.
- Maintain proper staff coverage, scheduling and high levels of customer service.
- Conduct operational audits to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Oversee after‑sales processes, repairs, returns and resolve customer complaints.
- Manage inventory flow, stock receiving, replenishment and loss‑prevention activities.
- Ensure visual merchandising, promotions and pricing align with brand policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 4–5 years of retail experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a sales team in a fast‑paced environment.
