Team Leader - Tawtheeq

About the role

The Tawtheeq Team Leader manages the Tawtheeq hub, the central point for the Branch Network to handle enquiries related to GCD, AML, RIM relationships and other compliance matters. The role also provides business insight, prepares reviews and reports for management, and works to improve overall performance and productivity of the branch network.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day activities of the Tawtheeq hub and ensure the team meets deadlines and UAE Central Bank response TATs.
• Handle escalation enquiries and maintain accuracy, timeliness and relevance of MIS reports.
• Own the centralized MIS tracker, develop new MIS formats, templates and KPIs for internal communication.
• Support stakeholders, update bank policies and procedures in line with regulatory changes and audit findings.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly issue reviews, present analytical studies of team performance and maintain issue logs.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of GCD and compliance regulations, ADIB retail operational policies and UAE banking practices.
• Good understanding of AML regulations issued by the UAE Central Bank and other authorities.
• Analytical and research skills to define problems and develop action plans.
