Technical Sales Engineer – Fire Protection Systems (Oil & Gas)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Technical Sales Engineer to drive the sales of fire protection and firefighting systems for oil & gas, EPC, refinery and petrochemical projects. Based in Dubai, you will combine your mechanical engineering background with hands‑on sales experience to deliver tailored, technically sound solutions to our industrial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business and nurture existing accounts with oil & gas companies, EPC contractors, consultants and industrial clients.
• Promote a portfolio of fire protection products – fire pumps, clean‑agent, sprinkler, foam, deluge, water‑mist and gas suppression systems – ensuring compliance and value alignment for each project.
• Identify leads, conduct market research and follow up to convert opportunities into orders.
• Prepare complete techno‑commercial proposals, quotations, BOQs and tender submissions in line with client specifications and bid schedules.
• Present products, negotiate contracts and communicate technical benefits and commercial terms to clients.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and estimation teams to support solution design and timely project execution.
• Track sales pipeline, meet targets and maintain accurate CRM records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of sales experience in fire protection systems, preferably within oil & gas or EPC environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex bids, prepare proposals and work with technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and fire protection product applications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
