Technician – Maintenance of CNG Chillers

About the role

The Technician – Maintenance of CNG Chillers will ensure the reliable operation of compressed natural gas (CNG) chiller systems at ADNOC Distribution facilities in Abu Dhabi. This full‑time position involves routine inspections, troubleshooting, and upgrades to keep the equipment safe and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on CNG chiller units.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and cooling faults.
• Implement system upgrades and modifications to meet performance targets and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and upgrade documentation.
• Follow all safety protocols, conduct safety inspections, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and assist in training new technicians.
• Respond to emergency repair calls outside normal working hours as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in HVAC, refrigeration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum three years’ experience maintaining and repairing chiller or similar equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to high work quality and safety.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
