About the role
The Royal Hospital Sharjah is seeking a motivated Trainee Pharmacist to support its pharmacy team. Working under the supervision of a qualified pharmacist, you will assist in preparing and dispensing medications while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and UAE Ministry of Health regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in filling physician orders, labeling bottles, and preparing prescriptions for dispensing.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records, monitor stock levels, and update the computerized inventory system.
- Ensure medicines are stored correctly, track expiry dates, and dispose of expired items according to policy.
- Report daily shortages and coordinate with insurance and other companies to adhere to contractual regulations.
- Follow departmental policies, quality improvement objectives, and uphold patient confidentiality.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
- Ability to work under the supervision of a pharmacist and follow MOH rules and hospital procedures.
