Transition Management Sales Lead – Middle East

About the role

State Street Investment Management is seeking an experienced institutional sales professional to lead business development for its Transition Management business across the Middle East. The individual will identify, develop and win transition mandates from institutional investors, leveraging State Street’s global custodian and asset‑management capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and convert transition management opportunities with central banks, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, endowments and other institutional investors.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline, managing prospects through the full sales cycle and partnering with internal relationship teams.
• Collaborate with State Street Investment Services, Markets and other divisions to deliver integrated solutions.
• Act as trusted advisor on manager changes, portfolio restructurings, fund mergers and large cash‑flow events, presenting strategies to CIOs and investment committees.
• Provide market intelligence on competitive activity, industry trends and client priorities across the region.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in institutional sales, transition management, capital markets, custody or related fields.
• Proven track record of winning high‑value institutional mandates and developing senior‑level relationships.
• Extensive network of clients or prospects in the Middle East region.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region and internationally.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
