Valve Field Service Technician

About the role

Flowserve is seeking a skilled Valve Field Service Technician to install, commission, monitor, troubleshoot, and repair valves and related equipment across various industries. The role involves providing real‑time technical support at customer sites and delivering recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and replacements.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and calibrate control valves with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric actuators.
• Dismantle, inspect, and assess valve and actuator condition; prepare technical service and repair reports.
• Perform re‑machining of valve trim components and interpret engineering drawings.
• Calibrate valves using digital positioners and verify operation of accessories such as volume boosters, lock‑up relays, and SOVs.
• Conduct pressure testing of shell and seat valves using hydro‑test machines and adhere to international standards.
• Provide on‑site troubleshooting during commissioning, turnarounds, and plant start‑ups.

Required profile

• Technical background in valve maintenance and actuator systems.
• Experience working with third‑party workshops and factory engineering teams.
• Ability to produce accurate technical documentation and service recommendations.
