Vice President – Project & Corporate Finance (UAE Nationals)

About the role

The Vice President will originate and execute financing transactions across Emirates Development Bank’s five priority sectors, acting as the single point of contact for government and private‑sector clients throughout the project lifecycle. The role ensures projects meet eligibility criteria and align with national priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Implement EDB’s value‑proposition for government and private‑sector clients, keeping it relevant to evolving national priorities.
• Lead relationship management with key government and private‑sector stakeholders across the five priority sectors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Originate, structure and execute financing deals, collaborating with senior bankers on complex transactions and independently managing simpler deals.
• Evaluate initial project viability against pre‑screening eligibility criteria and coordinate with sector‑specific consultants for credit applications.
• Ensure strict adherence to AML and regulatory compliance requirements, escalating any exceptions to senior management.
• Support the Head of Project and Corporate Finance in portfolio reviews, capital mobilisation committees and partnership facilitation between government and private‑sector clients.
