VIP Client Manager – Luxury Retail

About the role

The VIP Client Manager builds and nurtures strong relationships with high‑net‑worth clients, delivering personalized experiences that drive loyalty and business growth for the boutique. This role works closely with the PR team, sales associates and department managers to ensure exceptional service across all touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit new VIP clients beyond the existing boutique clientele by engaging with local businesses, banks, oil companies, government entities and royal families.
• Maintain constant communication with the PR team to stay informed about events and opportunities to meet influential profiles.
• Organise and contribute to VIP client events, focusing on the sale of ultra‑luxury products.
• Reactivate inactive clients and expand the existing database through targeted outreach.
• Drive cross‑selling and up‑selling across boutique departments, providing sales coaching and OTO (One‑to‑One) support.
• Collaborate with department managers to increase client loyalty and purchase frequency.
• Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge and share expertise with the boutique team.
• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets, especially for high‑value luxury items.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of retail experience, with at least 2 years in a management role within a luxury setting.
• Strong initiative, commercial creativity and a keen sense of fashion.
• Deep knowledge of the luxury industry and ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and management skills.
