VP & Head of Audit – Information Security

About the role

A subject‑matter expert responsible for planning and executing audits across the Group Security Office, Business Continuity Management, Data Governance, Data Privacy, Data Analytics & AI and System Integration functions, both locally and internationally. The role provides assurance to senior management by identifying weaknesses, reporting findings promptly, and driving remediation through action plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audits of the Group’s Information Security, Business Continuity Management, Data Governance, Data Privacy, Data Analytics & AI and System Integration functions across the UAE and international locations.
• Provide guidance and on‑the‑job training to junior audit colleagues, promote the bank’s values and ethics, and ensure audit work is completed on schedule and within budget.
• Monitor financial performance of audit activities, prepare risk assessments, maintain audit programs in the central audit management tool, and report findings to senior management within six weeks of fieldwork.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of information security, IT, business continuity, data governance, data privacy, data analytics, AI and system integration domains, as well as related regulatory environments in the UAE and other jurisdictions.
• Proven experience leading complex, multi‑jurisdictional audits, managing audit teams, and influencing senior stakeholders.
