About the role
The Indian Academy Dubai, a leading British‑curriculum school, is seeking a Year 1 Homeroom Teacher to join the team immediately. The successful candidate will deliver the UK curriculum to Year 1 students and support their overall development.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Year 1 lessons in line with the UK curriculum.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and school leadership.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education (mandatory).
- Minimum one year of teaching experience in the UAE on the British curriculum.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Familiarity with the KHDA framework.
- Holder of a personal or spouse visa and currently residing in the UAE.
- Ability to start immediately.
Required skills
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Knowledge of the KHDA regulatory framework.
