AC Technician

About the role

Provide timely maintenance and cooling services to ensure optimum operation, minimum downtime, and maximum asset life in a large manufacturing plant.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, service, repair, and test chillers, closed water loop systems, ventilation, and HVAC units.
• Execute preventive maintenance plans and breakdown repairs, including overhauling compressors and replacing defective parts.
• Complete ERP maintenance activity sheets, input data into the Asset Management system, and follow 5S and HSE policies.

Required profile

• Secondary School Certificate with a vocational certificate in Refrigeration and Air‑Conditioning.
• 3 to 5 years of AC engineering or electrical maintenance experience with chillers and cooling systems in a large manufacturing plant.

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of SAP maintenance software.
• Experience with AC motors/starters up to 150 kW.
• Hands‑on experience with microprocessor‑controlled chillers, screw/reciprocating compressors, and air handling units.
