Accommodation Attendant

About the role

Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island, a luxury resort on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, is looking for an Accommodation Attendant. The role ensures the smooth daily operation and upkeep of hotel staff accommodation, providing a safe, comfortable and well-maintained living environment for employees. It covers room allocation, inspections, check-in support and coordination with engineering and housekeeping.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating employee accommodation, including room allocation and preparation for new joiners, and ensure rooms are ready before check-in
• Support employee check-in and check-out procedures and monitor room occupancy, reporting discrepancies to HR
• Keep accommodation facilities clean, organised and properly maintained, and report maintenance needs and damages to the relevant departments
• Carry out regular inspections of staff rooms and common areas, checking condition, hygiene and functionality, and follow up on reported issues
• Act as a point of contact for accommodation requests, help resolve minor issues and respect employee privacy
• Coordinate with Engineering and Housekeeping, monitor supply availability and report shortages
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and security standards, manage waste and report incidents and policy breaches to HR

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel accommodation, housekeeping or facility operations is preferred
• Previous hotel experience is an advantage
• Good command of English; additional languages are beneficial
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with different departments

Required skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer and reporting skills are an advantage
