Account Manager - Cigna Healthcare

About the role

Cigna Healthcare, a division of The Cigna Group, is looking for an Account Manager in Dubai to manage a portfolio of Cigna Africa Corporate and SME clients. The role ensures policies meet agreed service levels, strengthens client and broker relationships and supports retention, profitability and growth of existing business.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with existing clients and intermediaries so that client needs are met and Cigna is represented professionally.
• Develop and deliver strategic client plans, reports, renewal proposals and product recommendations that support retention and profitability.
• Partner with Underwriting and other functions to design attractive renewal terms and product proposals while protecting profitability.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities within the client portfolio and present relevant proposals to clients and intermediaries.
• Work with Customer Services, Healthcare Services, Legal Services and Marketing to resolve service issues and deliver high-quality client materials.
• Manage contractual commitments, invoicing, deliverable quality, forecasts, references, testimonials, internal policies and management information.
• Support product development and renewal implementation by sharing client and market insights and ensuring schemes are correctly reinstated at renewal.

Required profile

• Minimum of five years of client management experience in health insurance, preferably within an international company.
• Experience working with insurers or insurance policies in African markets.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing or Business.
• Ability to travel when required.

Required skills

• Strong written and verbal English, able to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Stakeholder management, negotiation, proposal development, client reporting, invoicing and contract delivery oversight.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Nice to have: working knowledge of Agile project management (certification preferred) and French or Portuguese.
