Account Manager - Furniture & Hospitality

About the role

A full-time Account Manager position in Dubai combines marketing and sales skills to generate business from existing and new clients for the company's portfolio of products and services. The role involves presenting the company and its services to clients, advising on the best products, coordinating project enquiries and liaising with the Sales and Design departments.

Key responsibilities

• Making presentations to clients during preliminary meetings introducing the company and its services
• Advising clients on the product or service that best meets their needs
• Assisting in coordinating project enquiries and reviewing AutoCAD packages and other technical data received from clients
• Studying project enquiries to prepare a concise overview for the Projects Department
• Establishing new clients and maintaining existing client relationships
• Attending trade shows, conferences and other events

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in furniture projects for hotels
• Local market knowledge of the hospitality sector
• Proven sales track record
• Fluency in speaking and writing English and Arabic
• Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships, including a contact database of the local market
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as a team player
• Willingness to travel; driving licence required
• Background in architectural or furniture design preferable

Required skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with AutoCAD is not essential but would be beneficial
