Accountant Assistant

About the role

The Accountant Assistant supports the finance team with day-to-day accounting work, including data entry, bank reconciliations and invoice processing. The role also helps with month-end and year-end closing and prepares financial reports.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily accounting operations, including data entry and bank reconciliations
• Process invoices, receipts and payments accurately and on time
• Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes
• Help prepare financial reports and summaries
• Coordinate with vendors and clients on billing and payment matters
• Provide general support to the senior accountant and finance team

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in an agency
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Strong communication and collaborative mindset

• Microsoft Excel
