Accountant – Australian Bookkeeping & Finance Specialist (Immediate Joiner)

About the role

Veraspec is looking for an experienced Accountant with a strong background in Australian bookkeeping to join its Dubai team immediately. The role involves managing end‑to‑end accounting processes, month‑end closing, and financial reporting while using Xero, Tanda and Odoo ERP.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting activities.
• Maintain accurate general ledger, AP and AR records.
• Perform bank, credit‑card and account reconciliations.
• Process journal entries, month‑end and year‑end adjustments.
• Prepare financial reports, management accounts and support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and support audit requirements.
• Maintain and update financial data in Xero, Tanda and Odoo.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA) preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience, specifically Australian bookkeeping practices.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Fluent English communication.
