Accountant – E‑Commerce & Operations

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to support our e‑commerce and operations functions in the UAE. The role combines billing, stock, vendor, tax, and marketplace accounting to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Generate sales invoices, credit notes and receipts in Zoho Books; handle billing queries and payment disputes.
• Maintain accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile inventory in Zoho Inventory and report discrepancies.
• Onboard and maintain vendor master data, ensuring all licences and tax certificates are up‑to‑date.
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns, corporate tax calculations and keep tax records ready for audit.
• Manage petty‑cash fund, process vendor payments and reconcile statements.
• Process daily orders on Amazon Seller Central and Noon Seller Lab, coordinate packing and dispatch, and reconcile marketplace settlements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• UAE driving licence.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in e‑commerce or retail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Zoho One – especially Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory.
• Hands‑on experience with Amazon Seller Central and Noon Seller Lab.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT filing and corporate tax obligations.
