Accountant – Full‑Time, Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our Dubai office. You will own the day‑to‑day bookkeeping and month‑end close for a multi‑entity group, ensuring accurate financial information for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end month‑end close process and meet the agreed timetable.
• Record daily accounting entries, perform bank, payroll, inter‑company and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and post accruals, pre‑payments, rental revenue journals and maintain the Group Asset File.
• Process supplier invoices through Dext, monitor accounts receivable collections and execute payments.
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns, support tax filings and ensure UAE VAT compliance.
• Update ApprovalMax for vendor, budget or approval changes.
• Produce management accounts in line with IFRS and internal policies.
• Assist external auditors and handle ad‑hoc finance requests, including expense reporting and process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of accounting experience in an international or multi‑entity environment.
• Proven experience with reconciliations, management reporting and double‑entry accounting.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast‑moving fintech setting.
