Accountant – Full‑time position in Abu Dhabi

About the role

A leading architectural consultancy in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, financial reporting, project accounting and reconciliation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and support period‑end closing.
• Handle client invoicing, payment tracking, collections and supplier payments.
• Monitor project costs, fee income and profitability reporting.
• Support cash‑flow management, budgeting, forecasting and expenditure control.
• Assist with payroll processing, UAE tax compliance and audit preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (ACC​A, CPA or CMA a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in architectural, engineering, construction or professional consultancy environments.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP accounting systems (Visual Dolphin ERP is a strong advantage).
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT and Corporate Tax.
