About the role
A consulting firm is supporting a confidential Abu Dhabi-based organization in hiring an Accountant to support its head office finance operations. The role suits a hands-on finance professional with strong bookkeeping, reconciliation and accounts payable experience in a structured environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, journals and reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable processing, vendor statement reconciliation and payment support
- Handle petty cash, expenses, accruals and prepayments, and provide month-end support
- Support intercompany accounting, reporting schedules and audit documentation
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
- Around 4+ years of accounting experience
- Hands-on exposure to bookkeeping, journal entries, bank reconciliation, accounts payable, vendor management and petty cash
- Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems
- Preference for candidates showing strong technical depth, process discipline and clear examples of ownership in similar settings
