Accountant

About the role

Jawaker’s Finance team is seeking a diligent Accountant to support daily financial operations and ensure accurate bookkeeping across the company. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to keep financial records precise and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update accounting records and financial transactions.
• Prepare, review, and process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense reports.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes.
• Reconcile bank and vendor accounts.
• Assist with tax, VAT, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate finance‑related matters with internal departments and external partners.
• Ensure all accounting activities are accurate, organized, and properly documented.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting systems such as Odoo or QuickBooks.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
