Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of accounting principles and regional tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and review invoices, purchase orders, and payment documentation.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and supplier/customer accounts.
• Assist in VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE, Oman, and KSA tax regulations.
• Support audit processes and provide required documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Bilingual in Arabic and English (mandatory).
• 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Prior experience in healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceutical sectors is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and VAT regulations in UAE, Oman, and KSA.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
