Accountant

About the role

Gateway Resources FZCO is looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its operational team in Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), Dubai. The role focuses on day‑to‑day transactional accounting, maintaining accurate financial ledgers and supporting overall office finance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily transactional activity and maintain organized general ledger accounts.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows, including payment entries and invoice collections.
• Execute periodic bank, vendor and client account reconciliations to resolve ledger discrepancies.
• Utilise Tally ERP and Excel to maintain, update and audit financial datasets.
• Organise supporting accounting documentation and assist with routine financial reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on accounting experience within the UAE.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Tally ERP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable management and ledger reconciliation.
