Accountant – Jewellery Industry Experience Required

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced accountant to manage full‑cycle accounting functions within the jewellery sector in the UAE. The role involves preparing financial statements, handling VAT compliance, and supporting audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full‑cycle accounting including journals, ledgers, reconciliations, and trial balance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and management dashboards.
• Support budgeting, performance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns on time and support corporate tax compliance.
• Ensure adherence to UAE financial regulations and internal controls.
• Assist internal and external audits with required schedules.
• Work on ERP systems (Wingold Next, D365, Tally) and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (advanced degree/MBA preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the jewellery industry.
• Fluent in English.
• Available to work in the UAE.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems: Wingold Next, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Tally.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• Experience in inventory valuation and cost tracking.
