Accountant – Medical Device Company (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to join a reputable medical device company in Dubai. The role involves managing the full spectrum of accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the finance team in month‑end and year‑end processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare and review vendor payments, invoices, and reconciliations.
• Perform bank, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Support financial and management reporting requirements.
• Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns and maintain supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors, providing schedules and reports as needed.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Maintain vendor master data and support procurement‑related accounting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a B2B multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, IFRS, and general accounting standards.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
