Accountant – Real Estate & Property Management

About the role

NED Properties is looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant with solid experience in real‑estate leasing, property management, or facilities management. The role involves handling all accounting operations related to rental income, tenant accounts, property expenses, and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks including journal entries, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, cash‑flow reports, and support month‑end/year‑end closing, budgeting and forecasting.
• Monitor rental income, tenant ledgers, lease agreements, and ensure timely collection and accurate billing.
• Process vendor invoices, maintenance costs, utilities, and reconcile supplier accounts while supporting cost‑control initiatives.
• Assist with UAE VAT compliance, tax documentation, and support internal and external audits.
• Maintain accurate records using accounting software and property‑management systems, and drive improvements in reporting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in property leasing, management or facilities.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills with high accuracy.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software; familiarity with property‑management systems is a plus.
