Accountant (Remote, Part-time)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to provide remote, part‑time support to a portfolio of non‑profit and for‑profit clients based in the United Arab Emirates. You will work independently while collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile client bank statements and maintain up‑to‑date bookkeeping records.
• Manage income and expenditure accounts, ensuring proper financial tracking.
• Prepare financial reports based on accounting data and business activities.
• Handle tax filings, remittances, and other compliance requirements.
• Support implementation, management, and optimisation of accounting software systems.
• Use QuickBooks Online to manage client accounting activities and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience with non‑profit accounting is preferred.
• CPA certification or equivalent designation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to work independently.
