Accountant - UAE Real Estate

About the role

Huaxia Real Estate is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Accountant to join its growing team in Dubai. The role suits professionals with strong expertise in UAE real estate accounting, taxation, financial reporting and regulatory compliance. It covers daily accounting operations, VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, financial reporting and accurate financial records. Immediate joiners with relevant UAE real estate accounting experience are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and tax-related activities
• Prepare and file VAT returns in line with UAE FTA requirements
• Support Corporate Tax calculations, documentation, compliance and filing
• Maintain tax records, reconciliations and supporting documentation, and handle VAT and Corporate Tax reconciliations
• Manage FTA portal activities, including registrations, filings and compliance
• Monitor updates to UAE tax regulations and ensure ongoing compliance
• Assist with financial reporting, accounting entries and month-end closing
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants and internal departments
• Ensure accuracy of all financial and tax documentation and support other finance and accounting tasks as needed

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years of UAE accounting and taxation experience
• Proven experience in UAE real estate accounting is mandatory
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Immediate joiners preferred

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Hands-on experience preparing and filing VAT returns
• Practical experience with Corporate Tax compliance and FTA portal activities
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, FTA portal operations and tax reconciliations
• Excellent analytical, organisational and time-management skills, able to work independently and meet multiple deadlines
• ACCA, CA or a relevant tax certification is an added advantage
