Accounting Manager – AI Training Expert

About the role

Ethos is seeking experienced accounting managers to train a cutting‑edge language model on professional finance documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role is fully remote, flexible, and paid per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI‑generated monthly close reconciliations, journal entry packages and audit request schedules.
• Develop and audit accounts payable/receivable aging reports, budget‑to‑actual variance summaries, and vendor expense audit trail spreadsheets.
• Perform internal control walkthroughs, SOX testing memos, and ensure compliance with PBC documentation standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years in corporate accounting, financial operations, or internal/external audit support.
• Hands‑on ownership of close reconciliations and audit request schedules.
• Deep fluency in GAAP and PBC documentation standards.
• Expert‑level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with strong written communication.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros).
• Google Sheets proficiency.
• GAAP knowledge.
• PBC documentation standards.
