Accounting Manager - Transactions

About the role

The Finance Manager – Transaction Accounting leads all transactional accounting activities for PxGeo in Dubai, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions in line with IFRS, company policies, and internal controls. The role oversees accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, intercompany transactions, and balance‑sheet reconciliations while supporting month‑end and year‑end close processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day transactional accounting operations, including AP, AR, bank and cash transactions, intercompany reconciliations, employee expenses and fixed‑asset support.
• Ensure all financial entries comply with IFRS and internal policies; review and approve journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Manage month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities related to transactional accounting.
• Oversee balance‑sheet reconciliations, resolve outstanding items and support statutory audits.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, monitor compliance with governance, approval matrices and delegation of authority.
• Supervise banking transactions, cash‑flow reporting and treasury operations across group entities.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement initiatives, drive automation and support ERP enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, ACA, CMA or equivalent).
• 8‑10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in multinational, offshore services, energy, oil & gas, marine or project‑based environments.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial control frameworks.
