Accounts Assistant

About the role

An organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant is sought to support the accounting and finance operations of the company in Abu Dhabi. The role covers maintaining financial records, processing transactions, bookkeeping and keeping accurate financial documentation in line with company procedures. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices, payments, receipts and expense claims.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial databases.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets and summaries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with payroll administration and tax documentation.
• Organize and maintain financial records and documentation.
• Communicate with vendors, customers and internal departments on financial matters.
• Follow applicable accounting standards and company procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices.
• Strong numerical, analytical and organizational skills.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
