About the role
Al Zarooni Electro Mechanicals LLC is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. The role focuses on processing supplier invoices, managing payments, and ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices and verify them against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Prepare and execute supplier payments via bank transfers, cheques, and online banking platforms.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and reconcile supplier statements.
- Review invoice discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
- Assist with month‑end closing activities and audit requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in Accounts Payable.
- Current residence in the UAE and availability for immediate joining.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Tally or similar ERP/accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations and accounting procedures.
