Accounts Receivable Officer

About the role

Trace Hospitality is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join its Finance Team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on accurate invoicing, timely collections, and thorough reconciliation of all receivable streams across its restaurant and catering operations.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile daily credit transfers, bank accounts, credit‑card transactions and aggregator POS systems.
• Monitor aggregator commissions and flag any discrepancies or contract violations.
• Coordinate with branches for daily sales reconciliation and produce cash‑inflow versus sales reports.
• Prepare, review and dispatch catering invoices; follow up on outstanding payments.
• Issue month‑end or post‑event Statements of Account to trade debtors.
• Open debtor accounts upon receipt of signed contracts, manage advance deposits and payment schedules.
• Allocate and reconcile payments accurately in QuickBooks Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare AR journals for revenue adjustments, bank charges and credit‑card commissions.
• Conduct daily collection follow‑ups and escalate overdue accounts as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role, preferably within F&B or hospitality.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate; a valid driver’s license is required.
