Adjunct Faculty Assistant/Associate Professor in Public Health

About the role

The Department of Health Sciences in the College of Natural and Health Sciences at Zayed University is looking for qualified candidates to teach public health courses at its Abu Dhabi campus, starting in January 2027. The candidate reports to the department chair and teaches both introductory and advanced-level courses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop curriculum plans to enhance student learning
• Facilitate class discussions and ensure student engagement
• Maintain class records and assess student coursework
• Collaborate with colleagues on research interests and co-curricular activities

Required profile

• Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Public Health, Epidemiology or a closely related field, recognised by the UAE Ministry of Education
• Proven record of excellent teaching
• Adaptable, versatile and forward-thinking approach to engaging students
• Valid UAE residence visa; a No Objection Letter from a sponsor or employer is required for full-time employment, and the same applies to golden visa holders
