About the role
RIT Dubai seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach in the Master of Science in Integrative Design program. The role involves guiding graduate students through interdisciplinary, research‑informed design projects.
Key responsibilities
- Teach graduate‑level courses covering design research methods, interdisciplinary design practices, innovation and entrepreneurship.
- Mentor students from diverse backgrounds in developing research‑driven, interdisciplinary design projects.
Required profile
- Terminal degree (MFA, PhD or equivalent) in a design discipline.
- Proven experience in interdisciplinary design projects, innovation, and university‑level teaching, preferably at the graduate level.
Required skills
- Knowledge of contemporary and emerging design practices and technologies, including AI in design research and practice.
- Strong understanding of design research methods and ability to apply them across disciplines.
