About the role
Heriot‑Watt University Dubai is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach and develop courses in Technology and Innovation. The position is part‑time and focuses on delivering lectures, workshops and mentorship to students on a Dubai campus.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake teaching and assessment duties on academic programmes.
- Deliver lectures and practical workshops on design technology and innovation frameworks.
- Introduce students to technology‑driven design principles and emerging tools.
- Support students in applying design thinking and technological methods to solve real‑world challenges.
- Mentor and supervise students, providing timely formative and summative feedback.
- Contribute to the development of teaching materials and course design.
- Provide pastoral support and refer students for additional assistance when needed.
