Advisor – Commercial Excellence (Business Development & Strategic Growth)

About the role

EDGE Group is looking for an experienced Advisor to lead commercial excellence across its defence and technology portfolio. Based in Dubai, you will work closely with Business Development leadership to identify, shape and capture strategic opportunities in land, air, maritime and electronic warfare domains.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with BD leaders to define and pursue high‑impact growth initiatives.
• Analyse customer requirements and influence defence procurement decisions.
• Develop and present winning strategies that leverage emerging technologies.
• Coordinate cross‑cluster opportunities to maximise revenue and market reach.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in military operations, defence business development or strategic consultancy.
• Deep understanding of military CONOPS, defence procurement processes and global defence markets.
• Proven ability to engage senior military, government and industry stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Strategic Studies, International Security or a related field.
