Air and Missile Defense Analyst / EADSIM Specialist

About the role

Teledyne Technologies is hiring an Air and Missile Defense Analyst / Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM) Specialist to support the United Arab Emirates Air Warfare Center (AWC) at the Integrated Air & Missile Defense Center (IAMDC). The role delivers advanced simulation-based training for operational units, working on site in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Develop realistic digital training scenarios by converting written Operation Orders (OPORDs), Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) and training vignettes into air and ballistic missile defense simulations using EADSIM and other platforms
• Translate Master Event Scenario Lists (MESL) and Master Event Lists (MEL) into digital scenarios tailored to location, time and training objectives
• Build frameworks for Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) scenarios and manage scripted and dynamic environments, including blue, red and neutral forces, for Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) exercises
• Ensure accurate kinematic trajectories, radar cross-section and infrared signature data in simulations and live-fire events, and integrate a federation of LVC simulators
• Install and update operating systems and simulation software on Windows network devices, input sensor and weapon parameters, archive data and provide technical support during exercises
• Provide system briefings, compile modeling data, and create documents such as Exercise Control Plans, After-Action Reviews and meeting minutes

Required profile

• B.S. degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a related field
• Formal EADSIM Fundamentals training at the Teledyne Brown Engineering schoolhouse and at least one EADSIM Advanced class (Sensors, Flex SAM, User Rules)
• Active secret clearance and ability to retain it
• Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills

Preferred requirements

• 15+ years in Air Defense Command and Control Systems
• 10+ years in Air Defense systems integration
• 2+ years using EADSIM to model air and missile defense systems
• Master's degree in systems engineering
