Aircraft Maintenance Technician – Landing Gear

About the role

Collins Aerospace is expanding its Dubai MRO centre in Jebel Ali Free Zone and is looking for an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join the Landing Gear team. The role involves performing maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft components in a fast‑paced, safety‑critical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute maintenance, repair and overhaul tasks on landing‑gear and other aircraft components following OEM manuals and technical data.
• Perform moderately complex testing, troubleshooting and mechanical operations to component level.
• Ensure work is completed within required turnaround times and document job completion.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings and schematics to determine repair methods.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement activities, shop audits and maintain a clean work area.
• Adhere to all safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum three years (36 months) of experience in aircraft maintenance or MRO.
• Ability to work onsite in a team‑oriented environment and communicate progress effectively.
• Commitment to quality, safety and timely delivery of work.

Required skills

• Aircraft Maintenance Engineering knowledge.
• Proficiency with calibrated precision measuring equipment.
• Familiarity with Lean or other process‑improvement methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
