About the role

A leading healthcare facility in the United Arab Emirates is looking for an American Board‑Certified Specialist Psychiatrist to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based psychiatric care to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Manage patients with a wide range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, primary care physicians, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality‑improvement initiatives, and departmental activities.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and families.
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and facility policies.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
• American Board Certification in Psychiatry.
• Valid professional registration/licence in the country of practice.
• Relevant clinical experience in psychiatry.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Eligibility for UAE licensing according to applicable requirements.
