Anti-Money Laundering Analyst

About the role

Overchain is seeking an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Analyst to join its Legal, Risk & Regulatory team. The analyst will detect, investigate and report suspicious activity on the Overchain platform, ensuring compliance with global AML/CFT standards while supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Customer Due Diligence, Enhanced Due Diligence, periodic and event‑driven reviews of corporate clients.
• Perform retrospective transaction monitoring reviews to uncover undetected suspicious patterns.
• Investigate and analyse customer transactions, escalating cases as required.
• Lead onboarding reviews, periodic reviews and transaction monitoring investigations.
• Identify emerging typologies in virtual‑asset movements and refine detection logic.
• Collaborate closely with the MLRO, compliance, legal and operations teams across GCC, Europe and Asia.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months of AML/CFT experience.
• Strong analytical precision and sound judgement.
• Ability to work remotely while being based in the UAE and available during UK and Gulf business hours.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
