About the role

International Community Schools (ICS) Al Danah is seeking an enthusiastic Arabic Teacher A for Cycle 1 (Years 1‑3/4). The role involves delivering high‑quality Arabic language education that aligns with the National Curriculum for England and ADEK standards, while nurturing a vibrant learning environment for young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high‑quality Arabic language instruction for Cycle 1 students, aligning with the National Curriculum for England and ADEK standards.
• Foster a vibrant, inclusive learning environment that supports young learners in building a strong foundation in Arabic language and culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Arabic Literature, Education or a related field; teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., QTS) preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of full‑time Arabic teaching experience in the primary phase of a British‑curriculum school, with a valid ADEK teacher licence or eligibility.

Required skills

• Expertise in age‑appropriate pedagogical approaches for teaching Arabic to young learners.
• Proficiency in integrating educational technology such as interactive whiteboards, learning platforms and apps.
• Exceptional classroom‑management abilities to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
• Strong assessment, tracking and reporting skills to monitor student progress.
