Arabic Teacher – Immediate Start at Al Rayana Charter School

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an enthusiastic Arabic Teacher for Al Rayana Charter School in Abu Dhabi. The role starts immediately and involves delivering the American curriculum to a mixed‑gender primary classroom while fostering the school’s values of collaboration, leadership and creativity.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Arabic lessons aligned with the curriculum and the school’s Learner and Teacher DNA.
• Plan, prepare and present sessions that meet the needs of the whole ability range, using resources, displays and assessments.
• Assess student progress, record data in Target Tracker and use it to inform further planning and interventions.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff and external professionals such as speech‑language therapists.
• Communicate regularly with parents, provide feedback at conferences and support extracurricular activities, including running a weekly ECA.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with students whose first language is not English.
• Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) or police check.
• Professional attitude with a strong commitment to the well‑being and holistic development of children.
