Arabic‑Speaking Pharmacist (UAE)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified, customer‑focused pharmacist who is fluent in Arabic and English to join a leading pharmacy, hospital or healthcare facility in the UAE. The role involves accurate dispensing, patient counseling, and ensuring compliance with UAE pharmaceutical regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately according to physician orders and UAE regulations.
• Review prescriptions for dosage, contraindications, drug interactions and allergies.
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, storage and adherence.
• Provide pharmaceutical advice and recommend over‑the‑counter products when appropriate.
• Monitor patient medication therapy and collaborate with physicians to optimise outcomes.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records, inventory and controlled‑drug documentation.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of medications in line with regulatory standards.
• Manage stock levels, expiry dates and procurement processes.
• Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention and medication safety.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from a recognised institution.
• Valid DHA, DOH or MOH licence/eligibility.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a hospital, retail pharmacy or similar healthcare setting.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy management systems.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) platforms.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication management.
• Familiarity with UAE pharmaceutical regulations and controlled‑drug handling.
