Architectural Inspector – Dubai

About the role

The Architectural Inspector will ensure that all architectural engineering aspects of construction projects are executed in strict accordance with the approved inspection plan, drawings, codes and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and verify that architectural works follow the approved inspection plan, drawings, codes and specifications.
• Liaise with the Senior Architectural Engineer, other engineers and managers to provide support and guidance.
• Review and monitor variations to mitigate time and cost impacts.
• Check contractor documents and shop drawings for issues affecting stability or function of architectural components.
• Ensure contractor compliance with the approved Quality Control Plan and safety requirements.
• Maintain full site records, including daily diaries and monthly progress photography.
• Expedite NOCs and client approvals when delays are identified.
• Produce regular reports on architectural progress and conduct field checks of finishes, structures and building components.

Required profile

• Proven experience in monitoring and inspecting architectural works on construction sites.
• Ability to liaise effectively with senior engineers, contractors and project managers.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures, inspection documentation and relevant codes/specifications.
• Strong reporting skills and experience maintaining detailed site records.
• Capability to expedite approvals and resolve delays with authorities and clients.
