Architectural Manager – Design & Urban Planning

About the role

The Architectural Manager will lead the design process from concept through construction, ensuring that solutions are functional, efficient and compliant with regulations. This role works closely with internal teams, consultants and government authorities to deliver high‑quality projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee design reviews and coordinate authority approvals (RTA, DEWA, etc.).
• Generate and refine architectural concepts, massing, layouts and façade direction.
• Review and optimise space planning to meet master‑plan limits and regulatory standards.
• Integrate architectural design with structural and MEP systems.
• Manage consultants and contractors, ensuring adherence to DIEZ standards and consistent design language.
• Conduct site inspections, identify approval risks and support public‑realm integration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural design and urban planning.
• Strong knowledge of material selection, façade systems and construction methodologies.
