Assistant / Associate Professor in Robotics

About the role

The university seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor to develop and deliver robotics‑related courses across its Abu Dhabi and Al Ain campuses. The role combines teaching, research, curriculum development, and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Design, teach, and assess undergraduate and graduate courses in robotics and related engineering disciplines.
• Guide student progress, provide feedback, and mentor students on career pathways.
• Conduct high‑quality research, publish in Scopus‑indexed journals, and secure research funding.
• Participate in curriculum development, accreditation activities, and university initiatives.
• Engage with the local community and industry to promote the university’s mission.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or a closely related field from a reputable international university.
• Minimum 2 years of university‑level teaching experience with a proven record of teaching excellence.
• Research publications in Scopus‑indexed journals.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and curriculum renewal.

Required skills

• Expertise in robotics engineering and related technical domains.
• Advanced use of educational technologies, e‑learning platforms, and digital presentation tools.
• Ability to develop and manage academic curricula.
